In addition to being an avid football player in Lincoln County, Kentucky, Damon devotes his time to honing his musical skills by writing songs, singing, and practicing the guitar.

Throughout my unique personal history, I have always had a deep passion for music. From playing the drums at the age of 3 while keeping time participating in a talent shows during kindergarten, music has been a central part of my life. I would describe myself as humble, confident, mature, determined, and short (in height but not in ambition).
One extraordinary event that stands out along my career path is recording my first three songs in Nashville when I was just 14 years old. It was an unforgettable experience that solidified my love for creating music.
Amongst all the memorable performances I've had so far, one stands out as truly special - it was when I first performed my song "Why" at Bricks and Brews in Danville Kentucky. That night was incredibly impactful because of the overwhelming positive response from everyone in attendance.
Not only am I dedicated to pursuing my musical dreams, but I also actively engage in various activities outside of music. As a member of the FFA and football team, I believe in giving back to the community by volunteering for local benefits and charity events.
In my eyes, hard work is paramount. Talent can only take you so far without putting in the effort. This belief has driven me to excel in multiple areas of life. Whether it's playing different instruments or excelling in sports like multi-sport athletism or public speaking, I strive to be a well-rounded individual. Furthermore, being a good leader and showing empathy are qualities that define who I am.
While on this musical journey, two individuals have had an immense impact on me - my dad and Pappy (my grandfather). They have taught me valuable lessons about playing instruments with precision and mastering rhythm.
Overall, reflecting on these experiences brings optimism for what lies ahead on this fulfilling path of mine. Music remains an integral part of who I am and what drives me forward towards success.
I thoroughly enjoy connecting with people, whether they are fans, family, friends, or just individuals in the audience before a show. It truly warms my heart to witness the support and love from all those who are there for me.
